Fortress Fitness has an owner team that deeply desires to make you better. A better athlete, better at handling stress, better at movement, better. We are all athletes with different backgrounds, yet the same drive – to help you become the best version of you possible.
Fortress Fitness is not your typical gym. We do not have treadmills, ellipticals, cable machines, or mirrors. We do have pull-up bars, dumbbells, kettlebells, barbells, rowers and Assault Bikes (you will understand that name later) and open floor space for squatting, running, jumping, and lifting. We believe our bodies are the machine.
Our workouts consist of exercises that resemble movements performed in day-to-day life. We focus on functional movements that are essential to lead a successful, independent lifestyle, but occasionally we throw in some old school strength movements.
We program a “Workout of the day” or “WOD” that varies. You won’t be bored with the same six exercises and just lacing up your running shoes. We do this in a manner to be efficient (typically 1-hour or less, start to finish) and full body. We just need you to show up ready to work. Our programming is designed to benefit elite athletes, people who are just getting back in the swing of things, and those who are new to fitness. Our coaches will ensure you get the most out of your time, in a safe and (mostly) fun manner.
Our goal at Fortress Fitness is to improve your capacity in ten recognized general fitness skills: cardio-respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance, and accuracy.

Your goals have been defined and you are ready to begin your journey. We will start you off strong by teaching you the fundamentals of form and nutrition!

Once you have the basics down, have fun showing up to exciting and different workouts each day with your new community!
